Why We Use Deionized Water

 Deionized water  

is water that has had almost all of its mineral ions removed through a process called deionization. In deionization, ions such as sodium, calcium, iron, copper, chloride, and sulfate are removed, leaving essentially pure water.

The process of deionization typically involves passing water through specially designed ion exchange resins or membranes. These materials selectively remove ions from the water by exchanging them with hydrogen and hydroxide ions present in the resin or membrane. As a result, the concentration of ions in the water decreases, leading to deionization.

Deionized water is essential for cleaning windows due to its mineral-free nature, which prevents streaks and spots commonly caused by tap water. Its purity also makes it highly effective at removing dirt and grime without the need for harsh chemicals. Additionally, deionized water leaves no residue behind, ensuring windows stay clear and spotless for longer periods.
